T Shirts are 100% ring-spun Cotton for HTV application. For Sublimation a higher polyester count is required for proper adhesion. Lighter colors are also required because the ink is transformed into a gas when heated. The gas then sinks into the fibers or adheres to the special coating that sublimation blanks have.
